The story of Incognegro Apparel is a simple one, about being proud of who we are, embracing our unique struggle in America, and having fun with it as we hustle and grind our way forward. We trace our origins back to 2020, at the height of the global Covid crisis, when lockdowns were unavoidable, layoffs were inevitable, and surfing the net was necessity.
One spur of the moment desire to shop online in anonymity, collided with an intra-cultural play on words, and gave birth to a logo design that literally began selling apparel on sight.
First person encounters soon gave way to word of mouth and pop-ups at events, until an online presence became the only logical and sustainable way forward.
Incognegro Apparel is a Black owned business, built and driven by creatives, dedicated to producing quality activewear. Memorable, distinct, unique. Our brand is one that anyone would be proud to wear, and we are proud to represent.
